Licensing Terms

All articles published in Journal of Inclusive and Innovative Educational Technology are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license allows readers, researchers, educators, authors, institutions, and the public to read, download, copy, distribute, print, share, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published articles in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly credited.

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, users are required to:

  1. Give appropriate credit to the original author(s).
  2. Cite the original source of publication in Journal of Inclusive and Innovative Educational Technology.
  3. Provide a reference or link to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license when possible.
  4. Indicate if changes, adaptations, translations, or modifications were made.
  5. Distribute any adapted or derivative work under the same license, namely CC BY-SA 4.0.

The ShareAlike principle means that if users remix, transform, translate, or build upon an article published in this journal, the resulting work must be distributed under the same license. This ensures that derivative works remain open, reusable, and accessible to the public under equivalent open access conditions.

The journal does not apply additional legal or technical restrictions that limit the rights granted by the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Therefore, published articles may not be placed under “all rights reserved” restrictions, subscription barriers, payment barriers, or reuse limitations that contradict the open access license.

The use of CC BY-SA 4.0 supports the journal’s commitment to open access publishing, knowledge sharing, academic collaboration, and the wider dissemination of research in inclusive and innovative educational technology.

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles. By publishing in this journal, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and allow their work to be openly distributed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
